The smaller sizes of rubber water hoses can be coiled and pack to load. The larger sizes of rubber hoses such as material handling hoses, they can be single packed and load. For discharging purpose, the rubber hoses are reinforced by high tensile synthetic fibre; whereas for suction purpose, the rubber hoses will be reinforced by spiraled steel wire and synthetic fibre. Silicone rubber and EPDM performed excellent on heat resistance, thus they usually be used for the applications that the hoses would be used in a high temperature working conditions. Such as non-conductive furnace door hose, auto vehicle applications etc. If the hoses are used for transferring oil-based products, which include aromatic contents. NBR will be used to produce the hoses. Such as oil hoses, fuel dispenser pump hoses, hydraulic hoses, etc. are made of NBR, because NBR is oil resistant.
